With 11 libraries throughout Douglas County, residents never have to travel far to get the books they want.

Now, thanks to Library2Go, Douglas County Library cardholders can get their favorite books without leaving home. You can even get books while visiting a faraway destination.

For one family, that meant downloading ebooks while on a missionary trip in Honduras, said Reedsport librarian Sue Cousineau. Another patron got books while working in Alaska.

“You could be anywhere in the world and use Library2Go where you can download audiobooks and ebooks free of charge,” Cousineau said. “It’s a very valuable card.”
